Minister Oludare Odunayo Adebayo, also known on stage as Odunayo, was born on December 24th. He is a songwriter, worshipper, and professional project manager. He holds a degree from the famous University of Lagos. Odunayo began singing at a young age and was exposed to numerous types of Christian worship. As a young believer, he grew engrossed in worship while listening to music, ministries, and mentors, particularly Nathaniel Bassey, who changed his life as a child of God. Since then, he has been devoted to prayer and worship.
Odunayo Adebayo attended the University of Lagos before completing his Youth Corps Service Year (NYSC) in Katsina State. He oversaw over ten important initiatives including the MDGs (now SDGs) at the state and national levels. Odunayo Adebayo has also worked as a volunteer and project manager for organizations such as the Department of International Development, the Centre for Human Development, and the Community Information Project, among others.
In 2012, he launched the Love, Order, Value, and Empowerment Initiative (Love Initiative), which aimed to build long-term initiatives that would provide opportunity for individuals living in poverty and despair. The project arose from a desire to spread hope and alleviate suffering and poverty. This project has benefited over 2,500 women, teenagers, and children. The initiative also includes a specific Empowerment Program for young people. In addition, in collaboration with the Lagos State Government, more than 120 orphans and disadvantaged people were mentored and taught in various professions and ICT skills between 2014 and 2015.
Odunayo Adebayo is the fourth child and works for a telecommunications company. He organizes an online worship service called Praise and Passion, which is dedicated to helping people grasp the true meaning of praise and worship. He led worship at the RCCG, City of Refuge Parish in Lagos.
He rose to prominence in 2021 with his smash musical album, Zoe, which included Pastor Emmanuel Iren of Celebration Church International. He married his heartthrob and gem, Mrs. Damilola Odunayo, a religion blogger and Content Creator, on December 4th, 2021.
