Femi Okunuga was born in Epe, Lagos State. Minister Femi Okunuga, who lives in Lagos, Nigeria, is the organizer of the Reconciliation Worship Performance, a music concert intended at leading people to repentance and moving them closer to Jesus in intimacy.
He launched his first single “Open Up the Heavens” in 2012, his second single “Emi Orun” in 2013, and the generally regarded worship ballad “Only You… In 2015, he released “Alpha My Beginning, Omega My Very End, You Are Deserving of Praise Only You Only You.” Minister Femi Okunuga released his first official music video for “Only You Are God” on April 3, 2017, after its release in December 2015. It was filmed live at the Ultima studios during the first episode of Friends of Worship, which included Abigail and Uwana Etuk. In 2020, he released a song with Moses Onofeghara, Michael Akingbala, Beejay Sax, Tosin Bee, Kunle Ajayi, and Minister Bidemi Olaoba from One Hallelujah Records.

In his words, “I serve Jesus for a Living,” and he has ministered on several venues such as RCCG Redemption Camp, KICC, and Kingsword, among others. He has also collaborated with numerous Gospel preachers, including Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, Evangelist Bukola Bekes, Minister Efe Nathan, Odunayo Aboderin, and Funke Akinokun. He has one CD, “Open Up The Heavens,” and he is presently the Worship Leader at The Redeemed Christian Church of God Dominion Cathedral in Egbeda, Lagos.
