Minister Bidemi Olaoba whose real name is Abidemi Ayodeji Ogunmolu, is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and music composer who was born on October 15, 1991. He is well-known for his Fuji-style Gospel HighLife songs.
Minister Bidemi Olaoba has been interested in music at an early age, a passion that has followed him throughout his days as a student in the Civil Engineering department at Yaba College of Technology.
He then went on to the University of Lagos to study Economics at the Master’s Degree level, which he completed in 2021.
Olaoba was born into a Christian family of six in Lagos, Nigeria. He was born in Ikale Okitipupa, Ondo State. Bidemi studied Civil Engineering at Yaba College of Technology in Lagos and Economics at the University of Lagos in Nigeria.
Olaoba He began his musical career as a worship leader in the choir at Christ Apostolic Church before joining the CAC Music Ministry and the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Olaoba’s debut song, “Final Say,” was released in 2016 after he began his formal career. He became well-known for his catchphrase “The Bible Says.”

Olaoba rose to prominence after being invited to play at Marathon Praise, an event produced by the Redeemed Christian Church of God. He has six studio singles, two live performance albums, and several collaborations. Olaoba has been to Europe, America, and African countries, and he is the founder of the virtual concert Unrestricted Praise, which began in 2020 and featured gospel performers such as Buchi, Tope Alabi, Mike Abdul, Adeleke Adeboye, Eben, and Samie Okposo.
Olaoba has played at some of Nigeria’s largest gospel events, including the Redeemed Christian Church Of God’s Marathon Messiah’s Praise concert, the Festival Of Life (Dubai, Dublin, Italy, and the United Kingdom), MASS, HI-impact Praise, and COZA.
