Pastor Kola Oyeneyin is an entrepreneur and activist from Nigeria. He is the founder and CEO of Venia Group, a London Stock Exchange-listed venture creation and development firm. He worked as a Business Analyst for Hewlett-Packard in the United Kingdom for three years before becoming the Business Manager at Lekki British School.
Kola Oyeneyin launched Venia Group in January 2011, a venture creation and development firm whose subsidiaries include Venia Business Hub, which provides serviced offices and co-working spaces for Nigerian startups and SMEs, and AutoGenius, Nigeria’s first digital insurance platform.
Pastor Kola Oyeneyin sees himself as someone who was raised to raise, helped to help, driven to motivate, inspired to inspire, blessed to bless, and loved to love. This has fueled his desire for growth and transformation. Pastor Kola Oyeneyin was named to the Advisory Group on Technology and Creativity by Nigeria’s Vice President in 2018. In addition, Kola Oyeneyin was named Entrepreneur of the Year in 2012 by the Future Awards Africa.

Pastor Kola Oyeneyin is passionate about politics and advocacy. His enthusiasm sparked the GenVoices project. He organised and led elements of the Occupy Nigeria movement in Lagos as the creator and convener of the non-partisan organisation founded in January 2012 via a telethon to train young for political action. In 2010, he founded Sleeves Up, a youth empowerment initiative, through which he organized Nigeria’s first Youth-Led Presidential Debate and Register/Vote Campaigns in 2011.
Pastor Kola Oyeneyin is blissfully married to Pastor Mrs. Topsy Kola Oyeneyin (previously Eyitope St. Matthew Daniel). They married on the 30th of May, 2015.

Mrs. Topsy Kola Oyeneyin, his wife, is a transformation specialist with over 20 years of worldwide experience, having worked with financial institutions, regulators, and investors across Africa to build ambitious development strategies and implement large-scale reforms. She is a financial-services innovation thought leader who has led several initiatives and co-authored papers on how to harness the promise of digital financial services in Africa.
Prior to rejoining McKinsey, she worked for a renowned financial services provider, where she headed an international banking company, designed and implemented a corporate transformation program, and managed a large operations network with hundreds of locations.
Topsy is enthusiastic about the potential for digital innovation to advance economic development and serves on the Advisory Board of Endeavor, which empowers high-impact entrepreneurs for company success.
