1. Go to https://nimc.gov.ng/verification-service-api/ to access the official NIN Verification Portal.
2. Scroll down to “Verify NIN” and click it.
3. Fill in the required column with your 12-digit NIN number.
4. After you’ve entered your NIN, input the security code into the required field.
5. Click the “Submit” button.
6. A notice will appear informing you whether your NIN has been validated or not.
7. If your NIN has not been confirmed, take it to the nearest NIMC office and get it verified.
