Ayo Mairo Ese (née Thompson) is an award-winning broadcaster, event host, and public speaker. She is the co-host of Smooth 98.1FM’s popular breakfast show “Smooth Breakfast.”
Ayo began her media career in 2014 with Cool TV and has had the honor of interviewing CNN’s Richard Quest and Hollywood actor, Eric Roberts.

Ayo has a significant interest in development work and is the Executive Director (volunteer) at Basic Education Africa, in addition to her career in media.

She has received a number of prizes in acknowledgment of her efforts, most notably The Future Awards Africa Prize for Radio Personality of the Year.
Ayo is a Swansea University, UK, International Relations graduate.
