Why do African scammers use iPhone and WhatsApp numbers? – I’m not sure about UK numbers, but fraudsters use WhatsApp numbers because THEY CAN’T BE TRACKED! I know this because that’s what my scammer was using, but at the start of our meeting, he was using a California area code, 209, and with two additional phones, he used the same area code, 209, which a lot of scammers use since it’s popular with them.
The numbers are voip numbers; anyone with a landline account, such as AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint, may acquire any number, any area code, for FREE.
