You’ve told us to come to you with our every need. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God of Healing, and you have the last say over my fate, the number of years I will live and serve you on earth.

I’m come to you now as your kid, eager to hear from you and requesting heavenly healing. There is so much in life that I don’t comprehend. But I know you can make me entire with a single touch or phrase. Please forgive my sins, cleanse me of my wickedness, and start your healing from inside.

I don’t always know what your will is, Lord, especially when I’m longing for your face. I make no promises, contracts, or negotiations in return for my health. I merely bow my heart before you to express my heart’s desire: to spend as many years as possible loving you here, loving others, and yearning to grow more like you. That is entirely up to you—and perfectly acceptable to me. If you utilize physicians to heal people, give them the wisdom to know what to do.
