Surprisingly, he encountered a man in prison who looked virtually identical to him and shared the same first name. Inmates kept mistaking the two for one another.
On the left is Richard Jones, and on the right is Richard Amos.
It was then revealed that Amos was the one who carried out the robberies. Richard was imprisoned for 19 years for a crime he did not commit.
He was released at the age of 42 and is now claiming for $1.2 million in damages. You can only hope that he receives his money.
