Dr. Paul Obadare’s areas of expertise are World Religions, Theology, and Counseling. In 1982, Dr. Paul Obadare began his ministry career. He became the first African Minister of Mount Zion Primitive Baptist Church in Selma, Alabama, in 1986, while also serving as Associate Minister while attending Selma University. Dr. Obadare earned his Master’s degree in Religious Studies from Howard University Divinity School in Washington, D.C., USA in 1989.
He earned his PHD in Theology from the International Seminary in Florida, USA. Following this degree, he accepted a position as a New Testament lecturer at a local Seminary and Bible College, where he worked for seven (7) years while also completing another Doctorate degree in Counseling. Dr. Obadare worked as a pastor and teacher in both Methodist and Baptist congregations during his studies. He served as a hospital Chaplain in Washington, D.C., USA.
He also served as a Pastor in Christ Apostolic Church - WOSEM USA before joining and serving for many years as the General Secretary, CAC - WOSEM USA. He is currently the Global General Overseer of the World Soul-Winning Evangelistic Ministry (WOSEM).
Dr. Paul, like his father before him, travels the world giving revival meetings and founding churches in order to fulfill the purpose of soul winning.
He is the President of WOSEM Bible School in Maryland and WOSEM Bible Institute in New York, both in the United States. His family of four children includes his wonderful wife, Evangelist Florence Obadare, often known as Mommy G.O.
