Biography of Pastor Poju Oyemade (Age , Wife)

Pastor Poju Oyemade, born on May 8, 1968, is the Senior Pastor and Founder of The Covenant Nation (TCN), a ministry formed in 1994 and located in Lagos, Nigeria, where he supervises a vibrant community of believers who attend any of its weekly services or participate in its online platforms.

He is a well-known Word of Faith instructor who extracts deep teachings from God’s word that are applicable to the complexity of everyday life, family, business, and country building. His words are both transformative and cross-generational, with appeal to people from all walks of life.

He has been regarded as a bridge in Nigeria’s Christian community; a link between the country’s elder generation of Christian trailblazers and the younger generation; between entrepreneurs and business professionals; and between the government and the governed. In this sense, he hosts three major events each year:

1. The West Africa Faith Believers Convention (WAFBEC) is an annual prophetic gathering of teachers of the word of faith in the body of Christ around the world, with the goal of instructing and imparting on the younger generation, teaching the origins of the faith, and passing on the prophetic mantle to the next generation.
2. The Platform Nigeria is a non-political, non-partisan national development fair that takes place as a worldwide media event on Workers’ Day (May 1) and Nigeria’s Independence Day (October 1), with speakers from the highest levels of the nation’s government and global policy practitioners.
3. The International Conference for Pastors, Ministers, Leaders, and Workers (ICPLMW) is a capacity-building event designed to educate strategic Church structure and management as well as to inspire the correct ideals for Ministry work.

Pastor Poju is also extremely open to new ideas, embracing technology and other forms of media to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. His digital activities reach millions of people across the world via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and the Church’s website (insightsforliving.org).

On several TV stations around the country and in the UK, he hosts the regular TV shows ‘Insights for Living’ and ‘The Quantum Leap.’
