Evangelist Mike Bamiloye was born on April 13, 1960, in Ilesa, Osun State, southern Nigeria, but is originally from Ijebu-Ijesa. He was four years old when his mother died. Pastor, his eldest sister. Mrs Felicia Adepeju Adesiyan cared for him till he was old enough to care for himself.

He began his work at the Divisional Teachers’ Training College in Ipetumodu. Mount Zion was formed on August 5, 1985, by Mike Bamiloye. Mike Bamiloye’s debut drama, Hell in Conference, was performed at the National Christian Teachers Conference in Ilesa, Osun State, in 1986. Over the years, he has appeared in, produced, and directed various Nigerian gospel films.

Michael Abayomi Bamiloye, often known as Mike Bamiloye, is the founder and president of Mount Zion Faith Ministries in Nigeria. He is a Nigerian actor, playwright, producer, and director. He is the creator of Mount Zion Television and a drama evangelist. 
Mrs. Gloria Bamiloye accepted Mike’s proposal on August 5, 1985, marking the commencement of the Mount Zion Faith Ministry. He is married to Gloria Bamiloye, a Nigerian actress and evangelist, and they have three children: Damilola Mike Bamiloye, Joshua Mike Bamiloye, and Darasimi Lawrence Oyore (Nee Mike-Bamiloye). God has also bestowed to him grandchildren.
Gloria Olusola Bamiloye, like her husband, is a Nigerian playwright, film actress, producer, and director. She is a founding member of Mount Zion Drama Ministry. She was born in Ilesa, Osun State, in South Western Nigeria. She received her teacher training at the Divisional Teachers Training College in Ipetumodu.
In 1983, she met Mike Bamiloye and later married him. On August 5, 1985, they co-founded the Mount Zion Faith Ministry. She has acted in, directed, and produced a number of Nigerian films and dramas. She published a book titled “The Anxiety of Single Sisters” in 2002.
