Biography Of Dr Linda Ayade – Age , Children – Dr. Linda Ayade Ugwuye, wife of Cross River State Executive Governor, Senator (Prof) Benedict Ayade, was born on December 23, and is from Obudu LGA in Cross River State.

On October 2, 1999, she married her husband, and they had three children. Linda has an MBBS from the University of Port Harcourt and an MPH in Health Improvement and Promotion from the University of Wolverhampton.

She also belongs to the Nigeria Medical Association and the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom.

She worked at the National Health Society in the United Kingdom until 2014.

She worked for the National Health Society in the United Kingdom until 2014, and in 2016, she was named a Maternal Health Ambassador by the United Nations for her efforts to reduce childbirth mortality in her state.

The First Lady took it upon herself, upon assumption, to ensure that hospitals and Primary Health Care Centres in the state are stocked with cutting-edge equipment that will outlast her husband’s administration, earning her admiration and recognition from the First Lady of Nigeria, Mrs Aisha Buhari, the United Nations, and other Non-Governmental Organizations.

Dr Linda Ayade has demonstrated time and again that she is a lady of substance. She has been quietly and without fanfare travelling about affecting the lives of mothers and children in Cross River State.

As a medical practitioner, she has assisted her colleagues in the operating room on multiple occasions, gone on ward rounds and interacted one on one with patients, and made time in her hectic schedule to spend time in the consultation room attending to patients.

Cross River State is fortunate to have such a woman to assist His Excellency, Sir Ben Ayade in not only building the house and training the children, but also in building a state for future generations.
