Oh God, my refuge and strength, I come to You today with thankfulness and appreciation. I thank You that even when I don’t know which way to turn and feel uncomfortable, restless, and apprehensive, You are the steadfast friend who is always by my side, You always provide, You graciously intercede in my challenges, and Your overwhelming kindness surrounds me like a shield.

You lavish Your love and care on me, and I may be still and know that You are God. Amen.
