God the Father, I had no idea I’d contract this infection. I trust you, but I must admit that I am terrified of the unknown. I’m not sure how terrible my symptoms will go, and I’m worried that I could have infected others before I realized I was sick. Because you are the Great Physician, I ask for recovery. I hope I don’t wind up in the hospital and that I don’t pass this to others. Give me the strength to face the day. Give me the willpower to relax and care for my body while I’m healing. Even in this storm, please help me to worship you. Even in this struggle, please help me to honor you with my attitude. Assist me in spreading optimism rather than fear. Remind me that, while I don’t know what my future contains, I do know who does. Amen
