Jesus, You comforted your followers by telling them about the home you were prepared for them in paradise. Thank you for understanding that we require assurance that this life is not the end, and that ________ will spend forever with you in paradise. Please soothe his mind and assist him in grasping the fact that he will be with you and heaven will be his eternal home for the agony and suffering he must experience now. Please reassure him that you will be the one to wipe away all his tears and that there will be no more death, grieving, sobbing, or agony. Though he cannot see it now and it is beyond our human comprehension, grant him trust to believe your promise to help sustain him along this trip. Amen.
