Thank you, God. My heart breaks for my buddy, but I am also heartbroken for her family and friends, who are tremendously affected by the gravity of this heartbreaking circumstance. Please tell these family members that you are around to console them while they navigate their own sorrow and suffering. When they are filled with despair and anxiety, remind them that you do not sleep or even take naps; instead, you are constantly vigilant and ready to supply the strength they require. You are the sole source of real healing and recovery. Please encourage them when they are disheartened as they give practical treatment and faithfully serve. As they lift their gaze to you, remind them of your love and the strengthening presence of your Spirit that is accessible to them at all times. Amen.
