Biography of Reverend Emiko Amotsuka (Age , Wife)

Born in the year 1951, Reverend Emiko Amotsuka, generally regarded as one of the leading pioneers of the Faith movement in Nigeria, is the founder of Koinonia Ministries: an itinerant teaching ministry with a mandate to make excellent quality, complete gospel teaching available to God’s people.

He was strongly affected by the teachings of T.L Osborne and Kenneth E Hagin in the early 1970s, citing “They appeared to have a way of being in control of what transpired in their life.” They were not at the mercy of events. They seemed to have a way of letting God’s word determine how things would turn out in their life, which impressed me. That opened up a new vista in our redemption that we had never known” and linked such teachings to the establishment of Koinonia Ministries in November 1971 in Ibadan, Nigeria.

He was born as the lone male in an Itsekiri household of five children, and he was reborn at the age of 20. Reverend Amotsuka, a graduate of Agriculture Economics from the University of Ibadan, has never worked in the field of his academic background, but rather regards himself as a public servant of God, where all that matters is God’s guiding and direction, not his own advantages or profits.
