Heavenly Father, there is an ache in my heart that does not seem to be going away. It’s crushed me, it pains, and I can’t take it anymore. My thoughts are always consumed by the agony of the past. These tears that flow yearn to see joy again hurt so much, Father. Please give me serenity in my heart, I beg you: Hear my prayer. Amen.
