Pastor Muyiwa Areo, born on October 3rd, is an anointed Pastor, teacher, and preacher of the gospel of Christ. He is the Founder and President of Muyiwa Areo Ministries International (MAMI), a ministry that encompasses a variety of visions and manifestations, including the Citizens of Light Church (CLCC).

Pastor Muyiwa is a gifted teacher of God’s word with modern relevance. He is a man of uncommon insight, giving verity for a Christ-centered lifestyle. He is a creative thinker and concept developer with a keen attention to detail (excellence). An architect by training, he serves as a mentor and adviser to many.
Pastor Muyiwa Areo worked as an assistant pastor at Jolly Christian Center before being appointed Associate Pastor of Christ Love Fellowship at Obafemi Awolowo University, where he earned a degree in architecture. He was also an Associate Pastor at Deep Waters Christian Center in Surulere, Lagos.
Citizens of Light Church’s Lead Pastor is him. He is the President of Muyiwa Areo Ministry International (MAMI), an umbrella organization for several ministries with the primary goal of liberating men through the gospel of freedom. He mentors and guides many young individuals, steering them in the proper direction.

Pastor Muyiwa Areo is joyfully married to Pastor Mrs. Temi Areo, a Co-Lead Pastor of Citizens of Light Church. Pastor Temi Areo was born on May 7th in Ilaro, Ogun State, Nigeria. She attended the Federal Government College Odogbolu before transferring to Obafemi Awolowo University, where she graduated. She is also the founder of Birthing the Seed and the Vice President of Muyiwa Areo Ministries International.
