Blessed Jesus, I lay before you the memories that haunt me, the fears that perplex me, the despair that frightens me, and my irritation with my inability to think properly. Help me to find your forgiveness in my memories and to experience your calm in my sorrow. Lord, touch me and fill me with your light and hope. Amen.
