Prayer for the Indwelling of the Spirit (Catholic Prayer)
Holy Spirit, great Consoler, holy Bond of the Father and the Son, Hope of the Bereaved, enter my heart and establish Your loving rule there.
Instill the fire of Your Love in my sluggish spirit, and I will be completely obedient to You.
We believe that through residing in us, You provide a home for the Father and the Son.
So come to me, Consoler of abandoned souls and Protector of the helpless.
Help the sick, strengthen the weak, and encourage the doubting.
Come and purify me, and let no wicked desire possess me.
You admire the humble and despise the arrogant.
Come to me, Hope of the Dying and Glory of the Living.
By Your grace, guide me so that I may always be attractive to You.
Amen.
