We recognize that there is suffering in our fallen world, Father God. You said there would be. And we are aware that the adversary of our souls wishes to torture us. Lord, remind us of your truths. Let us ponder these. And we wrap ourselves in them when we are in pain or lonely. You stated in Numbers 23:19 that you are not a guy to lie. If you say anything, you will follow through on it; if you speak something, you will make it excellent. Thank you for always returning our calls. And thank you for saying in Romans 8:27 that the Holy Spirit will pray for us when we don’t know what to pray. Thank you, God, for always being there for us no matter what. In Jesus’ beautiful name, we pray. Amen.
