The Benefits of Trusting in God As A Christian

Benefits of Trusting in God – “Put on the complete armor of God, so that you can stand firm against the schemes of the devil,” Ephesians 6:11 says.

As a Christian, it is critical to maintain your faith in God. God gives us the courage, knowledge, and patience we need to persevere in the face of events and situations that might otherwise bring us concern and dread.

As a result, it is critical that we, as Christians, stay steadfast in our faith and keep God at the center of our lives on a daily basis.

Although God does not force us to do things His way, His encouragement is an ongoing benefit to those who choose to follow Him. Daily practice in being aware of God’s presence and direction is essential for maintaining one’s ability to trust in His providence. It is also vital to know that God is with us and that we comprehend His counsel in order to be steady in the face of adversity. We must also place him at the core of our being.

According to Philippians 1:27, “Only behave yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come to see you or not, you will be able to tell the difference. I’ll hear from you that you’re united in heart and mind, laboring together for the faith of the gospel.”

In this passage, we are urged as Christians to conduct ourselves in a Christ-like manner and to remain steadfast. We can do so by living our lives in accordance with the examples established by Jesus, such as displaying love, praying, spreading compassion, being in tune with the Holy Spirit, and giving our lives to God Almighty.

Just as the children of Israel remained steadfast in God’s accomplished work and were able to cross Jordan on dry ground to their land, Christians today must stand firm in Jesus Christ in order to cross into our inheritance.

Have Complete Trust in God

One way we may be sure of God is to have unwavering confidence in him alone. Christians are required to believe in Christ’s suffering and accomplishments on the cross, yet many Christians today lack trust in what the Lord Jesus Christ has already accomplished, triumphant in His resurrection from the dead.

Instead, some Christians believe that the sacrifices they must make are a need for salvation. They believe that good deeds influence their future rewards or that “works” may be used to atone for sin. You cannot truly transition from sin to holiness, from curse to blessing, from sickness to health, from loss to triumph, from failure to success, or from poverty to wealth unless you have trust in Jesus Christ and continue to believe in Him.

Fortify yourself with God’s Word.

“Take therefore the entire armor of God, that ye may be able to endure in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand.” 6:13 (Ephesians)

As Christians, we must recognize that we are always at battle in the spiritual realm. “For we do not struggle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).

List Of Benefits of Trusting in God:

The armor of God that we require comprises God’s words, scriptures, and prophetic verses in the Bible. We must focus on God’s teachings day and night in order to unleash the numerous powers that would be necessary in the event of an assault. God’s Word is our weapon and shield against wicked powers. The devil and his minions will continually test and undermine our faith and love for God. As a result, we are urged to constantly be prepared and to put on the whole armor of God for protection.

Fervently pray

If we are to pray passionately, it must be genuine and from the heart. Indeed, Jesus warns against praying only to appear impressive. Eloquent words are not required for fervent prayer. It is about our sentiments and passions for the issue for which we are praying, just as God is.

We grow more resistant and robust to the obstacles we face by praying fervently. Here are some of the advantages of trusting in God:

1. Abundant Defense

One of the advantages of trusting God is that we are protected indefinitely and unconditionally. God will never allow his children to be overpowered by enemy attacks. Genesis 28:15 states, “Behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest.”

As God’s children, we always have the Lord on our side.

“The LORD shall protect thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore,” says Psalm 121:8.

These are some of God’s promises to us. “But those who wait on the Lord shall regain their strength; they shall soar up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint,” says Isaiah 40:31.

2. Blessings and Success

2 Corinthians 4:19-20 “And my God will provide for all of your needs in accordance with the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. All praise to our God and Father forever and ever. Amen.”

When we wait on the Lord and remain steadfast in his holiness, we are certain of receiving his plentiful benefits in all aspects of our life. God will provide us a divine breakthrough in each scenario we find ourselves in.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ,” reads Ephesians 1:3.

3. Divine Redemption

In Jesus’ name, we shall be restored to our salvation, miraculous healing and deliverance, broken relationships and family troubles, financial difficulties, and more.

“God is our shelter and strength, an ever-present help in trouble,” says the Bible. Psalm 91:1-2

Waiting on the Lord diligently results in divine restoration, and we shall reclaim what we have lost. So let us wait on the Lord diligently, and He will strengthen and restore our lives in ways we could never have dreamed. Job 42:10-17

4. Divine Victory Over Obstacles

When we confront significant life obstacles like bereavement, personal difficulty, or a bad relationship, our emotions might get overwhelmed. We may experience despair, rage, irritation, or even terror. But it’s crucial to remember that if we have confidence in God, we can overcome adversity.

15:57 1 Corinthians “But glory to God, who gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

When we face adversity, it can be challenging to keep our concentration and remain optimistic. However, it is critical to remember that trials are just transitory and that we will eventually overcome them.

The key is to remain optimistic and focused on our goals, to remain devoted to working through our challenges, and to maintain our confidence in God, since this is how we will stand solid in Him.

God will undoubtedly bring us victory over these obstacles. He has never failed and will never fail again.

“These things I have communicated to you in order for you to have peace in Me. You will face difficulties in the world, but have courage; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
