On September 18, 1987, Minister Ada Ehi was born into the family of Mr. Victor and Mrs. Mabel Ndukauba. Ada Ehi is a Nigerian gospel singer, composer, recording and performing artist who goes by her stage name Ada Ehi.
She began her musical career at the age of ten as a backup vocalist for Tosin Jegede, a child star. She has garnered local and worldwide recognition via her songs and music videos since she began her professional music career under Loveworld Records in 2009.

Minister Ada Ehi and her three brothers enjoyed listening to gospel music as children. She is from Imo State in Nigeria. At the age of ten, she was chosen to be a part of Nigerian child star Tosin Jegede’s Girls band.

She graduated from Lagos State University (B.Sc Chemical & Polymer Engineering). During her undergraduate years, she was an active member of the Believers Loveworld Campus Fellowship, a young campus branch of the Believers’ Loveworld Incorporated, also known as Christ Embassy and led by the acclaimed Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. She soon joined the Christ Embassy Choir and has been engaged in the church choir ever since. In 2009, Minister Ada Ehi officially joined Loveworld Records.

While still in university, she met her husband, Moses Ehi, at Christ Embassy church during one of her practice sessions. They married in 2008, and they have two children.
Ehi has been actively involved in Christ Embassy’s Music Ministry since joining the Christ Embassy Choir, and has performed at Christ Embassy events in numerous programs across the world, including Europe, America, and several African nations.
Undenied, her debut album, was released in November 2009. In November 2013, Lifted & So Fly, a two-disc album, was released. On October 16, 2017, she released her third studio album, Future Now. On the same day, it debuted at number one on iTunes Nigeria.

Ada Ehi was designated one of the “100 Influential Christian Personalities in Nigeria” by YNaija in 2017. She was nominated for West African Artist of the Year at the 2017 Groove Awards, along with Frank Edwards, Sinach, Joe Praize, and the Preachers. In 2019, “Only You” was named one of Nigeria’s top 20 most-viewed songs of the decade. She won her first YouTube Plaque on August 26, 2021, for attaining 1 million followers on YouTube.
